Dynamic Problem: There is a continuous increase in the number of overseas contract workers every year, current patterns suggest that it is beneficial to the country to send OCWs but over time this may prove otherwise resulting in the decline of OCW migrations.
What is the pattern? Where is the data? source of the data? Is this not actually creating a good feedback considering that we get more remittances now? Your long term consequences does not seem to support what is happening with our economy with the help of remittances.
- The behavior generated is happening endogenously since the government promotes the migration of workers to other nations as it is part of the country's economic development program and since other nations have the demand for workers and they also offer better opportunities abroad.
